This is a 2nd reminder for an upcoming general subprocessor addition. In keeping with our data processing agreements and obligations and commitment to transparency, FreedomPay is providing advance notice of an intended addition to FreedomPay's list of subprocessors.
Subprocessor Name: Anthropic, PBC
Processing Location: United States
Service Provided: Anthropic provides Claude AI alongside various large language models. FreedomPay is enabling the ability for Claude to integrate with our Microsoft 365 environment to support internal productivity initiatives, document handling, and customer and tech support operations. To further clarify, Anthropic does not have access to the FreedomPay credit card gateway or FreedomPay production environment or have any impact on PCI DSS scope.
Nature and categories of data processed: In providing this service, Anthropic has the ability to process personal data contained in the FreedomPay Microsoft 365 tenant, within the connected scope. This includes FreedomPay customer communications and any data contained therein.
Safeguards: Anthropic processes this data as our processor under a data processing agreement incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK and Swiss addenda where applicable) as the transfer mechanism. Access is delegated and read-only, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and Anthropic maintains independent security assurances (including a SOC 2 report). Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
Planned Effective Date: August 3rd, 2026
Objection Deadline: August 2nd, 2026
If you have a reasonable data protection or data security concern about this change, please let us know prior to the deadline above at compliance@freedompay.com. MAINTENANCE IMPACT:
During the maintenance window there may be intermittent transaction timeouts lasting 1-2 minutes each over a 30 minute time period. During this time period if you receive a timeout please reattempt your transaction.
FreedomPay has taken every appropriate measure to minimize the impact of this maintenance, and does not foresee any ongoing issues as a result of changes to be made.

FreedomPay Tokenization Maintenance Aug 26, 2026 03:00-05:00 EDT
During FreedomPay’s standard maintenance window on August 26th, tokenization services will experience temporary disruptions lasting up to 5 minutes. FreedomPay will be conducting maintenance to increase resilience and redundancy for these endpoints across the active – active data center architecture. FreedomPay has taken the appropriate measures to ensure this maintenance is successful and expects no disruptions to non-tokenization processing during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your FreedomPay Relationship Manger.
